After his dismissal.. Zamalek shocks "John Edwards" with a new decision

The crisis of external disputes cast a shadow over the scenes of Zamalek club, after the White administration suspended the disbursement of financial dues to the former sports director "John Edward", and linked the settlement of his account to the end of the ongoing extensive investigations on the crises that caused the club to be deprived of registration recently.
The details indicate that Edward demanded a refund of the money he had paid out of his own pocket to support the club and solve some financial bottlenecks during his tenure, but the board of directors settled on freezing the file temporarily, until the completion of the examination of 18 international cases with FIFA that cost the White Castle Treasury fines of nearly (8 million dollars), in order to determine the real cause of those burdens and provide official legal clarifications to the concerned authorities.
The relationship between the two parties was officially ended last July after one year of contract, which witnessed the winning of the league shield, before the administrative views differed between the insistence of the former sports director to provide continuous liquidity and bring in a foreign coach, between the difficult financial conditions and the management's orientation to rely on local cadres and the continuation of the national technical staff.
In the context of internal investigations, Zamalek management is considering reviewing all the procedures and decisions taken in previous files to ensure that there is no administrative negligence, with the possibility of calling any former official to clarify the situation if necessary.
This comes at a time when the club has already succeeded in closing and settling a number of outstanding files that caused the ban from registration, such as the dues of Ferjani Sassi, Ibrahima n'day, Jose Gomez and Christian Gross, as well as the clubs deals of Chico Panza, Adi Dabbagh, Salah Mosaddegh, Juan Bezerra and Mahmoud bentayk, and the file of Yannick Ferreira and his assistants.
On the other hand, the club is close to resolving the identity of the new sports director, as "Hossam al-Zanati" is the most prominent name put forward to fill the position, after the parties made advanced steps in negotiations and Al-Zanati presented his technical plan, amid his requirement to regularize the team's dues and separate the file of the junior sector from his duties.
